Bono will head out on a book tour next month to celebrate the publication of his memoir, SURRENDER: 40 Songs, One Story. The 14-city tour starts 11/2 at New York’s Beacon Theatre.
Live Nation and Penguin Random House are producing the North America and Europe trek, which follows the 11/1 publication of the U2 frontman's first memoir. The L.A. stop is 11/13 at The Orpheum Theatre.
“I miss being onstage and the closeness of U2’s audience,” said Bono. “In these shows I’ve got some stories to sing and some songs to tell. Plus, I want to have some fun presenting my ME-moir, which is really more of a WE-moir if I think of all the people who helped me get from there to here.”
Tickets go on sale Friday. Each ticket purchased comes with a copy of SURRENDER.
