WHITNEY BIOPIC: YOU WILL ALWAYS LOVE IT

Here comes the Whitney Houston biopic, I Wanna Dance With Somebody, which is slated to hit screens on 12/21 via Sony Tri Star. The film, which stars Brit Naomi Ackie in the lead role and Stanley Tucci as Clive Davis, was directed by Kasi Lemmons, written by Bohemian Rhapsody scribe Anthony McCarten and produced by Primary Wave boss Larry Mestel, McCarten, Compelling Pictures, Davis and Whitney's longtime manager/sister-in-law, Pat Houston. Rodney Jerkins served as executive music producer. RCA will drop the soundtrack when the movie comes out. Will I Wanna Dance have the explosive effect on the late superstar's catalog that projects like Rhapsody, among others, have had for the artists whose stories they told? While we wait to find out, check out the trailer below.
