Indie distribution company Symphonic has launched Symphonic Starter, an unlimited plan for new and developing artists.
Services included in the company's new $19.99 plan span unlimited releases, free payment splits via SplitShare technology, robust TikTok analytics, team collaboration with different access levels in artist accounts, playlist-position tracking on Spotify and third-party playlisting opportunities through its recent acquisition, Streaming Promotions, based in Nashville.
Said CEO and founder Jorge Brea, “There are many providers of DIY distribution, but when we looked closer, we found that the offerings at the intro pricing levels are very limited. Even the basics that artists might need in year one of their career, like TikTok analytics or free payee accounts for splits, are often not provided. Indie artists deserve all the features they need for one fair price.”
For larger and more established artists, as well as managers and labels, Symphonic will continue to offer its percentage-based model, with dedicated client managers, bespoke DSP marketing and pitching, personalized sync-licensing pitches and unlimited primary artists under one account.
