FALCÃO & RABE-CAIRNS IN GLOBAL GROOVES AT INGROOVES

Ingrooves Music Group has promoted Cris Garcia Falcão to managing director at LATAM (Latin America), in which capacity she'll oversee all Latin American territories from her home base of São Paulo, and Nina Rabe-Cairns to managing director at APAC (Asia Pacific), overseeing Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia from Sydney.

Falcão began her career in music publishing at Fermata do Brasil and later founded the independent record label and publisher Cada Instante. She joined Ingrooves in 2020 as managing director of Brazil. She is considered a leading copyright-management specialist.

Rabe-Cairns also arrived at Ingrooves in 2020, following a stint at Spotify, where she served as senior editor/playlist curator and market strategy & operations manager for Australia and New Zealand. She previously worked as a senior brand-marketing manager for Nickelodeon and head of content for Viacom’s digital editorial team.

"Cris and Nina have played pivotal roles in our ongoing investment in and successful expansion of important new music markets,” said Ingrooves interim CEO Jeff Cuatto. “The broadening of their duties recognizes their entrepreneurial drive, knowledge and deep relationships in the regions they oversee. I am certain they are also pleased to be located so far from those idiots at HITS."
