Live Nation has teamed up with Halsey's cosmetics brands about-face and af94 to provide concertgoers a unique opportunity to experiment with different makeup looks. As a quote from the Capitol star reads, "Music and makeup go hand in hand." One could also note that artist brands make companies' bottom lines look more attractive.
"Halsey has always pushed boundaries, broken beauty norms and disregarded public opinion in favor of supporting personal forms of self-expression," Live Nation’s Global President of Media and Sponsorship Russell Wallach said in part. “Integrating these brands at concerts and festivals encourages boundless creativity."
Both about-face and af94 will be on deck at many Live Nation venues and festivals to offer product sampling, self-guided application and a range of virtual and actual "try and buy" integrations with their products.
The partnership made its mark at Lollapalooza this summer with an about-face glitter bar and complimentary makeup applications. In the coming months, fans will have the chance to powder their noses at Irving Plaza in NYC, The Wiltern in L.A. and The Tabernacle in Atlanta as well as festival such as Rolling Loud New York and When We Were Young.
