Global streaming sensation Feid has dropped his highly anticipated album, Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo (UMLE), originally scheduled for release on 12/1. The Colombian star trolled leakers by adding "Te Piratemos el Album" ("We Pirated Your Album") to the title on Wednesday before announcing that the full-length would be arriving that night.
After the LP's first full day at DSPs, Feid soared to #5 on Spotify's daily top artist chart, landing between no less than Drake and BTS. By Thursday, it had placed seven tracks on the global Top 200.
Meanwhile, at Apple Music, Ferxxo (Feid's nickname) is now #1 in 13 countries, including Colombia, Chile and Spain.
Feid addressed the hard pivot he had to take with the album's release by writing, “A little sad that my album was leaked âšī¸ but with all the love in the world we're going to put it out tomorrow. Here's the cover we just did @intuicion_creativa. I had very different plans from these, but God knows how he does his things đđ and I trust he has the best for FERXXOOOOO đ Tomorrow we have new music from FERSSSSS!”
