Drake, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, 21 Savage and Denzel Curry are among the artists paying tribute to rapper PnB Rock, who was fatally shot in Inglewood, Calif., Monday. He was 30.
Rock (Rakim Allen) was shot during a robbery attempt at Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles and rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:59pm PT. An outpouring of Twitter posts immediately started circulating.
PnB Rock signed with Atlantic Records in 2015 and went on to collaborate with Ed Sheeran, 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa and Chance the Rapper. His 2016 single "Selfish" was certified triple-platinum, while "Horses" with Kodak Black and A Boogie Wit da Hoodie went double-platinum the following year. His latest studio album, TrapStar Turnt PopStar, was released in 2019 and peaked at #4.
I highly doubt nikkas was looking at PMB’s babymom IG. He was in a bad location and people stay outside plotting. It’s very irresponsible and inconsiderate to blame her for something so tragic. We should be sending nothing but love to her and his family at this time.

After Pop Smoke there’s no way we as rappers or our loved ones are still posting locations to our whereabouts. To show waffles & some fried chicken????! He was such a pleasure to work with. Condolences to his mom & family. This makes me feel so sick. Jesus. #SIP #PnbRock π

RIP PNB ROCK and Y’all blaming his girl for his death is disgusting. Especially when NO info has came out other than one IG post. We should be talkin about how we keep doin this to each other as a culture and not about an Insta post. Smh. Something GOTTA change fr fr

Its so crazy how we’re living in a society where its normal for young black artists to die every year all year round. This doesn’t happen in any other culture!! White, Asian, Indian, Latin… no other culture has established artists getting killed like this!! WHY US?? RIP PnB Rock
