FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES & APPLE MUSIC

Rams fans are excused from waking up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed this Flipover Friday, but everyone else gets to celebrate an iTunes Top 20 packed with new arrivals from the likes of Kane Brown and Ozzy Osbourne.

Brown’s third studio album, Different Man (RCA Nashville), takes the top slot at iTunes today. Brown, who followed up his MTV VMAs performance by announcing his AEG Presents-produced tour for early next year, also has a duet with his wife, Katelyn Brown, “Thank God,” at iTunes songs, at #3.

Osbourne, who performed at halftime of the NFL opener Thursday at L.A.’s SoFi Stadium, is #2 with his 13th album, Patient Number 9 (Epic).

The all-new Top 10 continues with Stick Figure’s Wisdom (Ruffwood) drawing #3, Parkway Drive’s Darker Still (Epitaph) parked at #4 and Highly Suspect’s The Midnight Demon Club (Roadrunner) scaring up #5.

Jackson Wang, who made history this year when he became the first Chinese solo artist to perform on the Coachella main stage, lands Magic Man (88rising/Warner) at #6. Chris Tomlin’s Always (Sparrow/Capitol CMG) is #7, The Midnight’s Heroes (Counter) clocks in at #8 and Flogging Molly’s Anthem (Quiet Man/Rise) has the #9 slot. BRELAND’s Cross Country (Bad Realm/Atlantic) rounds out the Top 10.

The wave of new arrivals continues in the Top 20 with new releases from John Legend, Ari Lennox, Lake Street Drive, Built to Spill and others.

At Apple Music, YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s mixtape Realer 2, released on Labor Day via YouTube, shoots straight to #1 after hitting the streaming services. YeatsLyfe (Field Trip/Geffen) has the #7 berth.

The only album to open in the Top 20 on both lists is NAV’s Demons Protected by Angels (OVO/Republic); it’s #8.

At iTunes songs, fans continue to freak out over Nikki Minaj’s latest. The Queen Mix of “Super Freaky Girl” (YMCM/Republic) with JT & BIA f/Katie Git Bandz, Akbar V & Malibu Miitch holds the top slot on the chart.
