RAMS TAP OZZY FOR SEASON OPENER

Ozzy Osbourne will perform a halftime show at SoFi Stadium tonight when reigning NFL champs the L.A. Rams take on the Buffalo Bills in the kickoff game of the new season. The Prince of Darkness will perform a medley of his hits, with portions of the set being broadcast on NBC and Peacock.

Osbourne's 13th solo studio LP arrives the next day, 9/8, via Epic. Collaborators on the project include Eric Clapton, Josh Homme, Duff McKagan, Chad Smith, Robert Trujillo, Mike McCready, Chris Chaney and the late Taylor Hawkins. 2021 Grammy Producer of the Year Andrew Watt—who helmed the 2020 Ozzy outing Ordinary Man—once again manned the console.
