UPDATE: A TWO-WAY BATTLE FOR #1

What a difference a day makes. It now looks like #1 on Friday’s HITS Top 50 is a toss-up. A slight decline in streaming for DJ Khaled’s GOD DID (We the Best/Epic) combined with a slight increase for Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti (Rimas) closes the gap between the two contenders to just a few thousand units, well within the margin of error, with two days left in the chart week.

Our current best guess puts total streams this week at 115-120m for DJ Khaled and 130-135m for Bad Bunny. The difference in streaming will be narrowed by Khaled’s pure album sales, currently projected at about 9k.

Can the DJ hang on and capture this week’s crown? Or will B-Bun add another #1 week to his already remarkable chart run? All will be revealed (we hope) on Friday’s HITS Top 50.

DJ Khaled (We the Best/Epic): 105-110k
Bad Bunny (Rimas): 100-105k

Meanwhile, we're preparing for a brutal L.A. heat wave by driving, um, anywhere else.
