Sylvia Rhone's Epic is riding a hip-hop hot streak, with seven songs in the Top 14 of Spotify's Rap Caviar (and nine total) and eight songs in the Top 20 of Apple Music's Rap Life (and 13 total). DJ Khaled's star-studded God Did set leads the charge, with such cuts as "BIG TIME" f/Future, "LET'S PRAY" f/Travis Scott and, of course, "STAYING ALIVE" co-starring Drake and Lil Baby. 21 Savage adds fuel to Drake's hot "Jimmy Cooks," while Future continues his incendiary run with "WAIT FOR U" f/Drake, "PUFFIN ON ZOOTIEZ," "712 PM" and "LIKE ME."
Scott joins NAV for the breakout cut "Never Sleep" f/Lil Baby, while Southside and Lil Durk have considerable momentum with "Save Me" and DDG is taking off with "If I Want You."
Khaled's title track is the #1 song overall at Apple Music, where Epic has four of the Top 10 songs and a feature on a fifth.
All in all, it's an explosive moment for the label. Sylvia, Rick Sackheim and team are cranking the volume to see what those speakers can do. Though when we call, they reach for the earplugs.
