DICKINS ANOINTED
WME HEAD OF MUSIC

WME has named Lucy Dickins global head of contemporary music and touring. The move gives her oversight of the department, which includes offices in Beverly Hills—her current base—New York, Nashville, London and Sydney.

Dickins, who is Adele’s agent and the sister of the superstar’s manager, Jonathan Dickins, joined the agency in 2019 after exiting International Talent Booking in the wake of the WME shakeup that followed Marc Geiger’s departure. Initially, she co-headed the music department alongside Kirk Sommer and Scott Clayton before the latter moved to UTA. Sommer will continue in his role as global co-head of contemporary music and touring.

Since joining WME, Dickins has brought more than 90 clients to the agency.

“Lucy is a dynamic leader who brings strategic vision, energy and passion to every artist and colleague she encounters,” said WME Chairman Lloyd Braun, who doubles as president of Endeavor Client Group. “Lucy is the ideal leader to guide WME’s contemporary music business as we continue to expand our offerings and opportunities for our clients.”

For her part, Dickins said, "I'm grateful to the leadership at WME for supporting me in this role and for the partners and team members I have the privilege of working with every day in the music division. There is no place like WME, and I’m excited for what we will achieve together on behalf of our clients.”

Some background on this music-biz royal family: Percy Dickins, Lucy and Jonathan’s grandfather, co-founded NME in 1952. Their father, prominent agent and promoter Barry Dickins, co-launched ITB in 1978. Uncle Rob Dickins headed Warner Music U.K. in the 1980s and ’90s.
