WOLTERS JOINS MUSICARES

MusiCares has named Theresa Wolters VP of Health & Human Services.

She will be responsible for advancing emergency financial assistance, mental-health and addiction-recovery programs, social and preventive-health-care services and disaster-relief efforts.

For two decades Wolters has worked internationally to increase access to health, financial and emergency services in vulnerable communities. She spent 12 years at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, having previously contributed her skills to development and relief programs in Africa.

Wolters will report to MusiCares ED Laura Segura, who said, "Theresa's incredible career and experience will undoubtedly help the organization serve the music community in a greater capacity. We look forward to working together to harness Theresa's knowledge of the health and philanthropic landscapes to explore new ways to support music professionals."
