SURPRISE MEGAN DROP—"LET'S RUN THIS LAST ONE UP"

Megan Thee Stallion surprised fans Thursday morning by announcing that her new full-length album, Traumazine, will drop at midnight. The Roc Nation-repped rapper also alluded to the album's role in the resolution of her very public, messy label situation, marked by an ongoing legal battle with Carl Crawford's 1501 Certified.

Thee Stallion also let fans know that the reason for the rushed release is the leaking of music and other assets from the album. —Featured artists include Dua Lipa, Future, Latto and Jhené Aiko.

The 2020 Grammy Best New Artist further confirmed that Traumazine is the work that will get her out of her contract: "Y’all know I always have problems with dropping my music under this label. All these games and having to go to court just to put out my art has been so stressful. Thank you hotties for rocking with me through the bullshit. WE ALMOST OUT. 👏🏾 LET'S STAY FOCUSED AND RUN THIS LAST ONE UP."
