The vinyl edition of Harry Styles’ Harry’s House sold an astounding 280k between its 5/20 release and 6/30, making him the current poster boy of the 33 1⁄3 renaissance in a landslide. No less than 16 of the Top 50 (including the two Guardians of the Galaxy classic-rock soundtrack albums) are from the 20th century, led by Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours (#4), Nirvana’s Nevermind (#5) and Prince’s Purple Rain (#7). Taylor Swift lands four LPs on the chart, one more than Kendrick Lamar and Billie Eilish, while Tame Impala’s Currents (2015), Kanye West’s College Drop Out (2004), Arctic Monkeys’ AM (2013), Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black (2007) and Chris Stapleton’s Traveller (2015) cement their bona fides as post-millennial classics.
