Chris Herche has joined Jonathan Strauss and Alexandre Williams' Create Music Group as SVP, music operations and marketing. In this newly created post, Herche will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s music division.
“Chris brings with him a wealth of experience and passion in the independent music sector both as an executive and label owner,” said founder/CEO Strauss. “His deep marketing expertise will be invaluable to our artist and label clients as we continue to expand our operations around the world.”
Herche arrives at CMG from Cinematic Music Group, where he was CMO. He's also been VP, digital marketing & A&R, at eOne and began his biz odyssey two decades ago at RCA. Since 2011, Herche has run his own indie label, Vicarious Records.
As you can see, he also owns the world's most literate collection of trucker caps.
