Beyoncé has jumped on TikTok. While it isn’t known whether Blue Ivy had anything to do with the move, it’s immediately paying dividends as she’s snagged north of 3.3m followers in a matter of hours.
TikTok users can now access Bey’s entire catalog, and her inaugural post pairs a sampling of user-generated content with a message to fans. “Seeing y’all release the wiggle made me so happy!” she offers. “Thank you so much for all the love for BREAK MY SOUL! — Love B.”
She’s referring to her latest single—the lead track from her Parkwood/Columbia set Renaissance, dropping 7/29. “BREAK MY SOUL” has risen to #14 on the Mediabase Top 40 chart, sits at #8 at iTunes and is in the 20s on Spotify’s U.S. Top Songs and daily Top 50.
