FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES & APPLE MUSIC

That buzz you hear this Flipover Friday is coming from R&B singer Brent Faiyaz, whose WASTELAND (Lost Kids/Stem) is #1 at Apple Music and #2 at iTunes.

Beyond the impressive showing out of the gate for his second full-length, Faiyaz has four songs in the Top 15 at Apple Music—“LOOSE CHANGE,” “VILLAIN'S THEME,” “PRICE OF FAME” and “ALL MINE.” The only other new arrival landing in the Top 10 at iTunes and Apple Music is Burna Boy’s Love, Damini (Spaceship/ Bad Habit/Atlantic); it’s #5 at the download emporium and #6 on the streaming platform.

Topping the sales chart is Journey’s first album of all-new songs in more than a decade, Freedom (Freedom JN/BMG).

A vintage track from the later days of Journey’s classic Neal Schon/Steve Perry era, meanwhile, is helping drive Sony Legacy’s Stranger Things: Soundtrack From the Netflix Series, Season 4, which sits at #3 five days after its release. The show has also been a driving force in getting not only Journey's Greatest Hits back into the Top 25 but Metallica’s Master of Puppets (Blackened) as well.

Another five new arrivals decorate the Top 10 at iTunes: Metric’s Formentera (Metric/Thirty Tigers) comes in at #4, Westside Gunn’s Peace “Fly” God (Griselda) soars to #6 and aespa’s Girls–The 2nd Mini Album (SM/Warner) grabs #8.

Neil Young & Crazy Horse’s Toast (Other Shoe/Reprise), recorded in 2001 and kept under wraps until today, pops up at #9, and James Bay’s Leap (Mercury/Republic) jumps to #10.

At iTunes, Muscadine Bloodline’s “Me on You” (Stancaster) leads the new arrivals at #2, with Devon Cole’s “W.I.T.C.H.” (Arista) at #4.
