Future’s “Wait for U” f/Drake & Tems (Epic) is the only platinum single awarded for a 2022 release. His album I Never Liked You has gone gold. Lil Durk’s 7220 (Alamo) has also been deemed gold, as has his single “What Happened to Virgil” f/Gunna.
Walker Hayes’ Country Stuff The Album (Monument) is the top ’22 country release. Daddy Yankee has the top Latin album, LEGENDADDY (El Cartel/Republic). Styles’ “As It Was” is the top digital single of the year.
