Sony Music Publishing has renewed its worldwide pact with global hitmaker and Latin Grammy winner Tainy.
Tainy produced nine songs on Bad Bunny’s record-breaking 2022 album Un Verano Sin Ti, including chart-toppers “Ojitos Lindos” and “Party.” Other recent cuts include Bunny's "Yonaguni”; "Ley Seca" by Jhay Cortez and Anuel AA; "Oh Na Na" by Camila Cabello and Myke Towers; and "La Fama" by Rosalia and The Weeknd. The genre-leading producer has also delivered such smashes as the Latin #1s "Dákiti" by B-Bun and Cortez, Kali Uchis' "Telepatía" and Daddy Yankee's "China." He is currently working on Towers’ upcoming record.
Said president/CEO, Latin America and U.S. Latin, Jorge Mejia, “Tainy is one of the leading songwriters, artists and producers in music today. I have seen firsthand how he works with other artists and brings out the best in them while adding just the right touch to the production or song to make it an enduring global hit. We are truly honored to have Tainy as part of our Sony family and cannot wait to see what’s next in his stellar career.”
Said Lex Borrero, cofounder with Tainy of management company/talent incubator NEON16, “As Tainy’s trendsetting creativity continues to expand to different sectors of the entertainment industry, we are happy to have partners that understand our vision for his career. Looking forward to continuing to make history together!”
