FUTURE'S WAIT

Future’s platinum smash “WAIT FOR U” f/Drake & Tems (Freebandz/Epic) reclaimed the #1 spot on our Overall Song Streams chart last week, overtaking Kate Bush, the year’s runaway surprise. Flexing its staying power, this is the fourth time "WAIT FOR U" has topped the chart since its debut.

The track has amassed 189m U.S. YTD audio streams, racked up more than 100m streams on Spotify, where Future has 38m+ monthly listeners, and currently sits at #4 and #3 on Apple Music’s global and U.S. charts, respectively, which are otherwise dominated by Drake’s surprise drop. Meanwhile, Future's I NEVER LIKED YOU remains in the Top 5 of the HITS Top 50, while at radio, “WAIT FOR U” had made its inevitable debut at Top 40, holding at #2 at Urban and #3 at Rhythm.

It’s time for Pop radio to open its arms—and playlists—to embrace this gigantic hit.
