A RECORD WEEK FOR $25 TICKET SALES

Live Nation did record business this year with its annual Concert Week promotion, selling more than 2.2m tickets for 25 bucks a pop in early May.

This year's Concert Week encompassed more than 4k shows in clubs, theaters, amphitheaters, arenas and stadiums across North America. During the 5/4-10 campaign, 26% of buyers purchased tickets to two or more participating shows and Live Nation saw a 50% increase in full-price ticket sales.

“The record-breaking sales for Live Nation’s Concert Week show that demand for live events is at an all-time high,” said Kelly Strickland, SVP, U.S. Concerts Tour Marketing. “We have seen that fans are willing to spend money on seeing the artists they love live, more so than any other entertainment option out there.”

The ticket offer included performances by the Backstreet Boys, Halsey, H.E.R., Imagine Dragons, John Legend, The Who and many others.
