JOJI'S "GLIMPSE" OF GREATNESS (UPDATE)

UPDATE: Joji's "Glimpse of Us" rose to #1 on Spotify's U.S. chart Monday and is currently Top 20 at Apple Music. The track has also been added to Spotify's Today's Top Hits and moved to #3 on its global chart.

88rising/Warner's Joji dropped what turned out to be one of the biggest debuts of the weekend on Friday, "Glimpse of Us." The piano ballad soared to #3 on Spotify U.S. on Sunday and is Top 30-bound at Apple Music. It's Joji's first new music since his 2020 album, Nectar, which opened at #3 on the HITS Top 50.

The video below, directed by Dan Streit, depicts delinquency and chaos—a stark juxtaposition with the down-tempo single.

Also on Friday, the Japanese-born singer/producer announced his North American trek, The Smithereens Tour (see dates below). Joji's 2022 festival dates, meanwhile, include Coachella, the Governors Ball, Day N Vegas and 88rising's Head in the Clouds.
