ASCAP Experience has announced its schedule for June.
Beginning on 6/8, sessions will span "The Sound of Diversity: Championing Unique Voices in Film/TV Music" and "Express Yourself: A Roundtable on Identity in the Music Industry." The former will present TV/film composers Raashi Kulkarni and Daniel Rojas in conversation with Universal Pictures’ Jeff Cafuir. The latter will showcase Warner Chappell Music VP of A&R, U.S. Latin and Latin America, Lazaro Hernandez, singer/songwriter Ryan Cassata and Grammy nominee Jamie Moore, among others.
Grammy winner Ashanti will discuss with VIBE Editor-in-Chief Datwon Thomas the creation of some of her hits in celebration of the 20-year anniversary of her debut album.
ASCAP Wellness, meanwhile, will host "The Art of Listening: A Live Music Meditation With Beginner’s Ear," led by Beginner’s Ear founder Corinna da Fonseca-Wollheim and boasting music by ASCAP composer Todd Reynolds.
June will conclude with ASCAP’s Rhythm & Soul Music Awards, to be livestreamed on the 24th.
