CHINESE DANCE PARTY

Live Nation’s Asian EDM division is partnering with Astralwerks and Capitol Records China on the global release and distribution of Fabled Records artists and projects.

Live Nation Electronic Asia has entered into a multiyear global licensing and distribution agreement for the recently launched Fabled Records label. Chace, Beauz, Carta and Yåko—all managed by LNEA’s management company, Dancing Dragon—are among the artists on the Fabled roster.

Chace’s first solo album, Belated Suffocations, came out today; Beauz’s new track, a Chinese version of NOTD’s hit “Keep You Mine,” will follow.

Fabled and LNEA will enjoy access to a collective pool of Universal Music Group’s international divisions, with global marketing support led domestically by Capitol Records China and internationally by the team at Astralwerks.

“Greater China dance music has grown tremendously in the past decade, particularly in the live and club sectors of the business,” said Jim Wong, Managing Director of Live Nation Electronic Asia and Dancing Dragon and head of Fabled Records. “It has influenced a lot of artists, adults and teenagers in Greater China to start listening, engaging and producing dance music."

Chace flourished in the domestic mainstream media during the pandemic, Wong noted, adding that Beauz and Carta have developed international careers.
