LIVE NATION STARTS PAYING INTERNS

The thrill of fetching coffee for concert promoters has a new perk at Live Nation: a paycheck.

Live Nation’s Concerts team has shifted to a paid-internship model, hiring 50 college students and recent grads after receiving 15k applications.

“Moving to a paid-internship program is an important step that allows us to keep bringing in the best candidates—not just the ones who can afford to intern for school credit,” said Omar Al-joulani, LN President of Touring. “The music business isn’t taught in most schools, so interning at Live Nation will give students great real-world experience, and we’re excited to help them explore all the career paths in live music.”

Interns are working in Los Angeles, Nashville, Philadelphia, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston and elsewhere.
