TOP 20: KENDRICK
LEADS THE WAY

Three Kendrick Lamar albums land on our midweek chart, with the newly released Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers (pgLang/TDE/Aftermath/Interscope) on top. As its U.S. on-demand audio streams appear to be on track for 350m plays, Lamar’s first album in five years will break the year-to-date record for largest opening. Globally, at Spotify Mr. Morale is on pace for 550-600m streams. good kid, m.A.A.d city and Damn. are also likely to finish the week in the Top 20, each with 22-23k in activity.

Big Loud's Morgan Wallen and River House/Columbia Nashville’s Luke Combs may likewise see multiple albums in the Top 20 this week. Republic’s Florence + the Machine and Nonesuch’s The Black Keys, meanwhile, seem headed for Top 10 debuts.

The physical release of TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s minisode 2: Thursday’s Child sends the previously digital-only release back into the Top 5.
