FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES & APPLE MUSIC

The stars are out this Flipover Friday and none is shining brighter than Kendrick Lamar, whose latest TDE/Aftermath/Interscope release tops the iTunes and Apple Music album charts.

Beyond Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers' (TDE/Aftermath/Interscope) being #1 in sales and streams, the set's “United in Grief” and “N95” are already in the Top 10 at Apple Music songs, while another five tracks are between #11 and #20.

Right behind Lamar at iTunes is a collection of new arrivals from star acts, while yet another Morgan Wallen single hits #1 out of the gate.

Florence + The Machine’s Dance Fever (Republic) steps in at #2, followed by The Black KeysDropout Boogie (Nonesuch) groovin’ to #3. The debut from Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood’s The Smile, A Light for Attracting Attention (Self Help/XL), radios in at #4.

UMe’s unearthed treasure from The Rolling Stones vault, Live at the El Mocambo, their 1977 tour warm-up show at the Toronto club, starts up at #6.

The ChainsmokersSo Far So Good (Disruptor/Columbia) pumps up #7, State ChampsKings of the New Age (Pure Noise) secures the #8 seed and Lyle Lovett’s first album in 10 years, 12th of June (Verve), is #9.

New titles from Mandy Moore, Becky G and Tank and the Bangas are just outside the Top 10.

At iTunes songs, Wallen’s “You Proof” (Big Loud/Mercury/Republic) grabs the top slot ahead of My Chemical Romance’s first new song in eight years, “The Foundations of Decay” (Reprise), at #3 and No Resolve & State of Mine’s “Danger Zone” (Noise Machine) at #9.
