THE BEACH BOYS SHOOT THE CURL FOR THEIR 60TH

UMe is first out of the gate to celebrate The Beach Boys’ 60th anniversary, starting 6/17 with a newly remastered and expanded edition of Sounds of Summer: The Very Best of the Beach Boys.

Sounds of Summer will be available in a variety of formats, including a six-LP Super Deluxe Edition box and a three-CD set.

This fall, Capitol/UMe will release an expanded version of 1972’s Carl and the Passions – “So Tough” and 1973’s Holland. The multidisc set follows last year’s Feel Flows – The Sunflower and Surf's Up Sessions 1969-1971.

The Beach Boys, whose IP is in the hands of Irving Azoff’s Iconic Artists Group, are also participating in a feature-length documentary, a tribute special, exhibitions and events and brand partnerships to celebrate their 60th anniversary.
