GAGA PILOTS A NEW SINGLE FOR MAVERICK

Interscope's Lady Gaga has announced a new single, "Hold My Hand," which she created for the upcoming Paramount film Top Gun: Maverick, starring Tom Cruise. Her first original solo track since 2020's Chromatica, the song drops 5/3. This also marks Gaga's return to making original music for film following 2018's Grammy, Academy and Golden Globe award-winning soundtrack to A Star Is Born.

In a post on social media, Gaga explains the process behind "Hold My Hand," which was co-written by Benjamin Rice and co-produced by BloodPop. The motion picture version of “Hold My Hand” features additional production and score music by Harold Faltermeyer and Oscar winner Hans Zimmer.
