SOUNDCLOUD SALUTES ONE YEAR OF FAN POWER

SoundCloud will celebrate the first anniversary of Fan-Powered Royalties with Fan-Powered Friday, a one-day event on 4/29 during which SoundCloud will match 100% of the revenue artists earn that day.

Some facts and figures about the Fan-Powered Royalties program: Between March 2021 and March 2022, indie artists have earned 60% more through the program than via a traditional pro-rata model; there was a 97% increase in fan contributions of more than $5; and the number of independent artists monetizing their work on SoundCloud grew by 30%.
