The dog days of Q1 are finally over, and the music-biz equivalent of the NBA Playoffs is about to tip off. As the intensity reaches a fever pitch around the league, elite ballers including UMG’s Kendrick Lamar (5/13) and recently signed BTS (6/10), Sony’s Future (4/29) and Harry Styles (5/20) and WMG’s most-improved-player candidate, Jack Harlow (5/6), warm up by draining treys from the logo. Who will emerge as the high scorer when the trophy is brandished and confetti rains down from the rafters? We’re clueless, as usual, but we do know one thing—that is why they play the game.
