PRICE IS RIGHT
FOR REPUBLIC

Republic has tapped Danielle Price as EVP, with a major role in strategy, biz dev and label expansion, label topper Monte Lipman has announced.

NYC-based Price most recently served as SVP Business and Legal Affairs at 10K Projects, tending to such artists as Trippie Redd, iann dior, Internet Money and Surfaces. She previously led the hip-hop music division at LaPolt Law, repping Nicki Minaj, 21 Savage, Megan Thee Stallion and other high-profile clients. Price began her career as an attorney in WMG’s legal affairs department.

A sought-after speaker who's lent her perspective to numerous panels, seminars and other events, she sits on the board of L.A.-based nonprofit We Are R.I.S.E., dedicated to lifting up girls of color, and “Future Hope,” for the City of Hope’s Music, Film and Entertainment Industry Group.

"Danielle’s business acumen, creative vision and extensive legal background are proven ingredients for a brilliant executive," Monte declared. "Her fresh perspective and unique talents will be a tremendous addition to our team of extraordinary executives. We sincerely hope she never has to deal with those HITS idiots again once this announcement is published."

"Monte and Avery always put the artist first," reads Price’s quote. "Everything falls into place from there. That approach is not commonplace these days, but it’s something I wholeheartedly believe in. From the moment I met them both, I felt at home with Republic’s foundational principles as they align with my own personal philosophy. We have a unique opportunity to help artists realize their dreams, and I’m honored to be a part of that."
