OLIVIA, SONY ARE TOP OF ASCAP POP

Olivia Rodrigo's winning streak continues; ASCAP has crowned Geffen's breakout star Songwriter of the Year and named Sony Music Publishing Publisher of the Year as the PRO rolls out its Pop Music Awards.

ASCAP is revealing Pop Music award winners via social media today through Thursday. The acceptance speech from Rodrigo, feted a week ago at the Grammys as Best New Artist, for the first ASCAP Award of her career can be seen below.

Dua Lipa’s hit “Levitating,” written by ASCAP songwriters Clarence Coffee Jr., Sarah Hudson, DaBaby, Stephen “Koz” Kozmeniuk and Lipa, was named Song of the Year.

As part of the festivities, ASCAP Experience will host a special ASCAP Pop Music Awards session on @ASCAP Instagram Live Wednesday with songwriters Tommy Brown and Mr. Franks, who've written for Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber. Republic Records co-president Wendy Goldstein will moderate the session, which begins at 4pm ET/1pm PT.

The complete list of Pop Awards winners is available on the ASCAP website.
