Buzzing newcomer keshi's first album, GABRIEL (Island), arrived in the Top 15 of HITS' Top 50 Chart last week. After consulting with our research team, we can confirm that this is 2022's top-debuting first album.
Prior to the set's release, keshi had already racked up more than a billion and a half streams for his singles and three EPs. The James Dai-managed singer/songwriter now has a slew of complimentary reviews under his belt and about 5.4 million monthly Spotify listeners.
On Thursday, 4/7, keshi heads out on a headlining tour. We hear the North American and European legs sold out in pre-sale, spurring his team to add dates and secure bigger rooms. The run includes two nights at N.Y.'s Webster Hall and two at L.A.'s Fonda Theatre. We're sure our tickets will get lost in the mail.
