SONY'S ICONIC GRAMMY NIGHT

Here are a few starry moments from Sony Music's post-Grammy revels in Vegas, which we were firmly discouraged from "going anywhere near."

Sony Music boss and 2022 Industry Icon honoree Rob Stringer joins Team RCA and trophy winner Doja Cat for this suitably iconic Vegas tableau. Pictured just before facing the awkward task of making small talk with Blue Man Group are (l-r) Stringer, RCA President Mark Pitts and COO John Fleckenstein, Doja and RCA ruler Peter Edge.

Here Stringer waxes iconic with (l-r) managers Gee Roberson and Adam Leber, Columbia supremo Ron Perry, heavily nominated Columbia stars The Kid LAROI and Lil Nas X, EVP/GM Jen Mallory and Sony Music Publishing topper Jon Platt. Interestingly, Lil Nas and Big Jon are of comparable height.

Seen just before facing down a Bond villain at the Baccarat table are (l-r) manager Marc Jordan, Fleckenstein, Pitts, Stringer, Edge, R&B Album winner Jazmine Sullivan, EVP Carolyn Williams, manager Zsuzsa Cook and RCA EVP Creative Content Camille Yorrick.

Columbia boss Perry joins Rap Performance winner Baby Keem and team members for this ebullient moment while wondering if he should reveal that he's wearing a hoodie under his tux. Seen just before an Elvis impersonator jumped out of a cake are (l-r) Columbia's Mallory, John Salcedo and Victoria White Mason, Baby Keem, pgLang's Niya Morton, Perry and pgLang's Dave Free.

Stringer joins Team Epic in posing with breakout GIVĒON (center), who got a couple of big looks on Music's Biggest Night. Seen thinking the luckiest thing about Vegas is that we're not there are (l-r) EVP/GM Rick Sackheim, label Chairman/CEO Sylvia Rhone, GIVĒON, Stringer, EVP/Head of A&R Ezekiel Lewis and manager Simon Gebrelul. We're told the deep-voiced singer has changed the date of his "Heartbreak Anniversary" to the day he first appeared on this website.

Pubco boss Platt is joined by Nashville publishing chief Rusty Gaston, singer/songwriter Natalie Grant, songwriter/producer Bernie Herms and SMP VP Creative Anna Weisband. Several of the people here later composed a sad song about appearing in HITS.

Joined by Recording Academy boss Harvey Mason Jr., Stringer brandishes his Industry Icon award, which may or may not also be The Tesseract.
