PARTY TIME FOR CLIVE

Clive Davis turned 90 on Monday. His big birthday bash will take place tonight at NYC’s Casa Cipriani, with several hundred of the legendary exec's friends, colleagues and admirers expected to be on hand.

Clive said in the invitation: “I personally hope you will one day be told that the next birthday you celebrate will be your 90th. If you’re in any way like me, you’ll be shocked, touched, shocked, gratified and shocked. Where did the years go? Well, whether you’re family or a friend or an artist or a colleague, our lives are forever connected.”

Now streaming on Paramount+: The four-part Clive Davis: Most Iconic Performances, excerpted from 2021's virtual Pre-Grammy Gala. It features His Cliveness’ favorite archival performances and exclusive interviews with boldfaced names.

“These interviews stand out as among my proudest achievements,” Davis said. “They’ve received phenomenal response, presenting these all-time artists in a light never seen before. The performances are truly iconic indeed, jaw-dropping in every way.”

Whether it's his discovery of and/or work with Janis, Sly, Bruce, Patti, Whitney, Aretha or the many biz folk he’s mentored, Clive’s imprint on the music biz is singular and indelible.

Get ready to blow out a whole lotta candles, big guy.
