DUQUE'S DIAMONDS

Warner Music Latin America boss Alejandro Duque is enjoying a streaming windfall as cuts by two of his acts—"Envolver" from Brazilian breakout Anitta and "Plan A" by Argentine singer/rapper Paulo Londra, both via Warner Music Latina, with Warner Records the U.S. label partner on Anitta (who's buzzing here big time)—occupy the #1 and #2 spots, respectively, on the global Spotify chart. You can check out both below as well as a 2022 remix of "Envolver" with reggaeton star Justin Quiles that has already racked up more than 11m Spotify streams worldwide.

The Miami-based Duque joined WMG last year after a 15-year tenure at UMG. He is very glad to be many states away from us.
