Trippie Redd has re-upped with 10K Projects. The exact contours of the deal are unknown, but it will see the multiplatinum rapper remain at the label “for years to come,” according to the announcement.
One of 10K's first signings, Redd dropped his debut album, A Love Letter to You, in 2017. In a mere five years, he's put out four studio albums, six mixtapes, eight EPs and nearly three dozen singles, resulting in 15 platinum and eight gold certifications.
In 2021 he dropped the platinum-certified “Miss the Rage” f/Playboi Carti, followed by Trip at Knight, which boasted Juice WRLD, XXXTentacion, Lil Uzi Vert, Polo G and others, before wrapping up the year with a North American headlining tour and New York Rolling Loud set. Redd's latest project will arrive via 10K this spring.
Said 10K founder/CEO Elliot Grainge, “We launched 10K Projects as a label where artists have complete creative freedom and the support to realize their vision. I know I speak for everyone at the label when I say I'm so honored and humbled to be able to continue our extraordinary partnership with Trippie for years to come.”
“Elliot signed me when I was 16,” said Redd. “I’m grateful to have had him as a partner for this long and excited to make more hits with 10K and keep growing together.”
“Trippie Redd is that rare artist who's always pushing the boundaries of music genres, always surprising, always challenging,” 10K Projects co-presidents Zach Friedman and Tony Talamo said in a joint statement.
The artist's manager, Peter Jideonwo, said, “We’re grateful to continue to make history with Elliot and the 10K team, Zach, Tony, [EVP of Global Marketing] Molly [McLachlan], [SVP of Business Development] Sam [Cohen] and [Head of Publicity] Hannah [Haines], through Trippie's upcoming releases.”
