A growing swarm of labels appears to be circling S-Curve’s multiplatinum alt-pop trio AJR. The free agents have been on a hot streak the last few months, coming off a slew of hit singles. Their current earworm, “Record Player” w/Daisy the Great, is in the process of turning TikTok virality into radio success as it climbs the Top 40. And it doesn’t hurt that they helped make Weezer’s “All My Favorite Songs,” on which they’re featured, one of iHeart’s top-five biggest songs at Alternative radio last year.
It wouldn’t be a shock to see manager Steve Greenberg and attorney Jamie Young close a deal before the group heads out on the 2022 leg of their OK Orchestra Tour, which picks back up on 4/28 and will usher them through amphitheaters and arenas across the U.S., U.K. and Europe. Schmoozers, rev your engines.
