Promo exec John Boulos opens the doors of his new consulting firm, JBoulos Music LLC, with the aim of developing new artists and mentoring young executives.
JBoulos Music will encompass three verticals: Mentorship, Artist Development, and Strategic Promotion Campaigns. The first companies he is working with include BlackBox Media Agency, In2une Music and Aware Records.
Boulos was most recently EVP of Promotion at Arista Records where he led campaigns for JP Saxe and his duet featuring Julia Michaels, “If The World Was Ending” plus UPSAHL, Kennyhoopla and others. He oversaw all aspects of radio promotion for the relaunched label and built and led a multi-format national promotion team.
Prior to Arista, Boulos spent 11 years at Roadrunner and Atlantic Records working with Twenty One Pilots, Charli XCX, Panic! At The Disco, Paramore and others. He has held promotional and executive roles at Capitol, Warner Bros., Epic, Virgin, Mercury, Island, and RCA.
