RIAA HANDS OUT GOLD & PLATINUM AWARDS

In a month that saw Eminem become the RIAA’s singles champion, Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X and Lil Baby were among the other recipients of a bounty of gold and platinum awards.

Rodrigo’s SOUR (Geffen) is now certified triple platinum, while four of her hit singles have racked up another million units: “drivers license” is quintuple platinum; “good 4 u” is quadruple platinum; “déjà vu” has hit the triple-platinum plateau; and “traitor” is double platinum.

Lil Baby has added another 12 gold and eight platinum singles to his collection as My Turn (QC/Motown/Capitol) hits quadruple platinum. Dreamville/Roc Nation’s J. Cole has another nine gold awards for his singles, with “Neighbors” deemed triple platinum and “Change” platinum. Lil Nas X’s latest tally includes a 16x platinum award for “Old Town Road” (Columbia).
