Showtime Documentary Films’ Sheryl Crow picture, premiering today at SXSW, will debut on Showtime on 5/6. UMe/Big Machine has the soundtrack.
SHERYL, directed by Amy Scott, is built around present-day interviews with Crow, behind-the-scenes cinema verité on the road and in her studio, never-before-seen archival footage and conversations with friends Keith Richards, Joe Walsh, Emmylou Harris and Brandi Carlile, among others.
UMe/Big Machine Records will release a double-CD companion soundtrack, Sheryl: Music From the Feature Documentary, boasting three new songs as well as hits like "If It Makes You Happy" and "Soak Up the Sun” and deep album tracks.
