GRAMMY NFTs START ROLLING OUT

OneOf has started its three-week rollout of Grammy Award NFTs, beginning with a free one today. A portion of proceeds will go to the Recording Academy's scholarship fund.

The limited-edition works were created by artists ThankYouX, Emonee LaRussa and Andre Oshea. ThankYouX's collection, scheduled to drop 3/29, is composed of 64 unique NFTs of abstract paintings overlayed on a Grammy statuette. LaRussa’s collection comes out 3/15 and Oshea’s begins 3/22. The big prize among the freebies is an NFT that includes a golden ticket for an all-inclusive travel stipend for two to the 64th annual Grammy Awards, 4/3 in Las Vegas.

“To be on the forefront of technology while simultaneously serving the music community with a new and innovative platform is only the beginning of what NFTs are doing to change the musical landscape and generate more income for music creators,” said Adam Roth, SVP, Partnerships & Business Development for the Recording Academy.
