THE ANSWER, MY FRIEND, IS NFTs

NFTs for Bob Dylan and Miles Davis will be released this year by Snowcrash via its NFT trading platform, formed in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment and Universal Music Group.

Dylan’s son Jesse, a film director, and manager, Jeff Rosen, were involved in the creation of Snowcrash alongside NFT pioneer Walter De Brouwer.

Dennis Kooker, President, Global Digital Business, Sony Music Entertainment, said, they would focus on delivering accessible, user-friendly experiences for creators and fans. “Snowcrash is a promising new NFT marketplace with strong leadership connections to the music community, a highly informed technology vision and differentiated in-house creative capabilities,” he noted.

UMG EVP, Digital Strategy, Michael Nash added, “The all-star team behind Snowcrash, with the incredible experience and perspective that Jeff, Jesse and Walter bring from their varied backgrounds and fields, promises to deliver exciting new creative opportunities for our global roster of artists and songwriters.”

Projects will be announced in the coming months. One features the work of emerging artist Varvara, who reimagines paintings by John James Audubon,

Snowcrash recently partnered with UNICEF on NFTs celebrating its 75th anniversary.
