Cameron Crowe will deliver the keynote address at the 24th annual Entertainment Law Initiative luncheon the day before the Grammy Awards.
The Grammy Week event during which lawyers turn off their billable-hours meters will be held at noon on 4/2 at the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
In addition to Crowe’s speech, the winner and runners-up of the annual Entertainment Law Initiative Writing Contest will discuss their papers. Sona Sulakian from the USC Gould School of Law is this year’s winner for writing "Protecting the Artist: Licensing in an AI-Generated Music Market."
After the ceremony, the lawyers on hand will honor Crowe for writing their favorite line in the history of film: “Show me the money.”
