RedOne GETS HIS GAME FACE ON
FOR FIFA

It’s game on: RedOne has been tapped as Creative Entertainment Executive for FIFA, the highest governing body of association football (or as you Yanks call it, soccer).

Look for a more expansive explanation in the near-ish future, along with an official announcement, but for now we can tell you that both FIFA and singer/songwriter/producer/ exec and force of nature RedOne are pretty much over the moon about the arrangement. The latter did the 2006 World Cup song for Shakira (“Bamboo”) and also wrote the official song for his childhood heroes, Real Madrid (2014’s “¡Hala Madrid! ...y nada más”), not to mention “One World,” the 2018 Russian World Cup song.

Look for more on this topic soon. In the meantime, we’ll be looking for the cleats we bought in 1997.
