Another rock star on a busman’s holiday, Slash, opens at #2 with 4 (Snakepit/Gibson/BMG), by his side band The Conspirators f/Myles Kennedy. Spoon’s 10th album, Lucifer on the Sofa (Matador), plops down at #3.

Mary J. Blige is one of two artists appearing in Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime show with new releases today. Her 15th album, Good Morning Gorgeous (MJP/300), is #4 at iTunes and the top new arrival at Apple Music, coming in at #19. Snoop Dogg’s BODR (Death Row) is just outside the Top 10.

Alt-J’s The Dream (Atlantic) wakes up at #6, Amos Lee’s Dreamland (Dualtone) drifts off at #7, Chase Matthew’s Born for This (Holler Boy) has the #8 berth, and Dustin Lynch’s Blue in the Sky (This Is Hit/Broken Bow) shines at #9. Frank Turner’s FTHC (Xtra Mile) rounds out the Top 10.

At iTunes songs, BTS's Jung Kook tops the chart with “Stay Alive” (Big Hit), which his bandmate SUGA produced, while the second Nicki Minaj & Lil Baby collab, “Bussin” (Republic), is at #2. State of Mine’s metal cover of Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight” (Noise Machine) is new at #6.
