GAME ON FOR EA IN GUILD OF MUSIC SUPES NOMS

Big ups to EA Music head Steve Schnur and compatriots for two Guild of Music Supervisors Award noms for Best Music Supervision in a Video Game.

Schnur and Venus Bentley, in contention for the innovative, starkly industrial Battlefield 2042 (about which more here), are going up against EA colleagues Raphaella Lima, Cybele Pettus and Ben Werdegar for FIFA 22.

The GMS Awards, which will take place on 3/20 at L.A.'s Dolby Theater, will likely have an impact on Oscar voting. GMS voting begins 2/14. More details here.
