MOTOWN SEEKS NEW VIDEO STORYTELLER

Motown and Google have created a program to find and fund a female content creator/videographer to tell the story of the women of Motown Records.

The Motown Records Creator Program Supported by Google unites Motown’s commitment to shattering barriers for talented creatives and Google’s mission to amplify underrepresented voices in entertainment. UTA’s Entertainment & Culture Marketing unit brokered the deal.

“Motown has always been a destination for creators to bring their dreams to life,” said Motown Records Chairwoman/CEO Ethiopia Habtemariam. “This program, in partnership with Google, will provide opportunities for women creatives to further develop their craft.”

Applicants to the Motown Records Creator Program Supported by Google can apply here until 3/8. They must be able to work from March through July.
